Our team is made up of experts trained to repair probes of all brands and types. In the repair request form, specify the exact brand and model of your probe: we'll let you know if we can take on the repair, then establish a precise diagnosis on receipt. Our repair rate is 90%.
After analysis, we draw up a staged, tailored quote. Faulty parts are repaired or replaced (3 to 6 months warranty), end-of-life parts replaced (6 months warranty), and crystals/externally visible parts replaced with new components (12 to 18 months warranty). Repair generally takes 5 to 10 working days: first inspection, full analysis, repair, repair certificate, final inspection, warranty certificate.
No: an ultrasound probe is a sensitive medical device (piezoelectric crystals, water-tightness, high-precision wiring). Any uncertified intervention voids the manufacturer's warranty and can compromise patient safety. Our lab, certified ISO 9001:2015 and EN ISO 13485:2016, is the only way to guarantee a compliant, durable repair.
Once we receive the probe and you've accepted the quote, repair takes 4 to 7 days on average before return. With over 15,000 spare parts in stock, we're often more responsive than our competitors — and we can loan you a probe during this time.

At MIDES, we do not offer ultrasound probe rentals — our lab is dedicated to repair only. We can however loan you a probe for the entire duration of the repair.
A repair request can be made at any time via our digital analysis form. We can then provide you with a loaner probe for the duration of the repair, letting you keep working without interruption.
The probe is sent by post or collected by our specialised staff. Our eco-friendly packaging for ultrasound probes guarantees a safe return journey.
